'11 SC S Pat Martin - UT Signee

“I fell in love with Tennessee Today,” Martin told InsideTennessee.com Saturday after his visit. “There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about it. There is no doubt that Tennessee is now my leader.”

“I didn’t commit, not yet anyway,” Martin said. “I’m coming back two more times in the next month to get to know the coaching staff a lot better."

Just looked at his Rivals profile and it shows that his primary recruiter for LSU is Chavis. Since when does he recruit?

He told jhop the same:

Pat Martin just text me, "Tenn is my favorite school, I'm in love with Tenn."

Wow.

Wow this is awesome news, LV. I like Martin's size and how well he covered ground in the Tuscaloosa camp vids.

Isn't this the kid that asked VN if someone was going to paint the rock for him? Did we? If not, I hope someone does for the next visit. He's in love with UT right now....let's do everything in our power to make sure he knows the feeling is mutual :good!:

Twitter|JCShurburtt - Safety Pat Martin (Greenville, SC) says Tennessee is now his leader.

Edit: Oops... you beat me to it.

Good player...

Showed out at Alabama Nike Camp: "Pat Martin (Greenville, S.C./J.L. Mann) was another impressive safety. Martin is a downhill player who loves to come up and make the big hit but he looked just as comfortable playing in space and made several nice plays on the ball. Martin stands right at 6-0 but has a strong body and should have a smooth transition to the college game because of how physically tough he is."

I am begining to think that you're a close VOL fan.

From the article. Sounds like he may have made a silent commit boys...

"I plan on making a commitment before my season starts," he said of his timetable. "I want to get it over with and be able to focus on my senior year with no distractions. Right now I can definitely see myself playing at Tennessee."

"It was the coaching staff mainly, that's what really set things apart for me," Martin offered. "It's a great environment and I liked it a lot and felt real comfortable with everything.
