'12 GA RB Imani Cross (Nebraska Commit)

Dang this guy did a good job in that interview. I was impressed listening to him talk. It's not easy getting interviewed live on air. I loved when he was talking about the color Orange. He definitely speaks well and seems like he would be a great fit for what Dooley is trying to do.

It actually wasn't a live interview just played on the air. However, I was still very impressed in his ability to speak. He sounded very mature and articulate which is not how you would describe most HS rising seniors.

I remember being in civil engineering classes with Darwin walker, a very intelligent well spoken dude.

I am glad CDD is focusing on recruiting people like this. I think the dividends will be huge
:):):):)

Youre joking right?

Maybe he just sounded like he was acknowledging that his talents are a gift, but yes most not all are arrogant. I appreciate someone that is humble. Is that so bad, why put my statement down? If you don't agree than just make your point maturely. If I'm taking you wrong I apologize.:peace2:

Per TSS Imani will be preaching at Lakewood Baptist Church tomorrow night on Matt 7:13. Great kid.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.:good!:

Really like this p/u! Welcome Imani...first to commit to Tennessee's 2012 class. Yeah, I know little delayed but hey, better late then never. :)

Imagine, in addition to Lane, Neal, Smith, & Williams...how sick would it be to sign Cross, Kimbrow, & Marshall??!??

This is always nice. I hope Geno Smith is one of those guys.

Me too! I understand he had a terrific visit, and have noticed that several high profile prospects left Jr. Day/Knoxville pleasantly surprised...Tennessee's staff and program left quite an impression.

I didn't mean person to person, but he still answered questions as they were asked
But yes, he spoke well for a HS student

Maybe. maybe not but definitely my #1 RB. Watch his YT and you will see why he will be one of the top 2 or 3 on everyones list of RBs. I keep wishing in one hand. LOL:loco:

Are we sure IC is a RB and not a LB? I know he's big and light on his feet. Anyone know what the coaches have planned?

Dooley likes big backs. I think he's RB all the way.

Yes RB. His value is with the rock in his hands. I really don't know how everything is going to play-out with IM being offered. I'm still holding my breath for KM and would like to see KM, IM, and IC all sign, but with two spots.........................................

Just an analysis of Imani by Simmons. Says he is an every down guy and definitely a power back. Needs to work on keeping his pads low but he is a hard worker, has great hands, and is surprisingly fast for his size.

Wish I could link to some of the pictures. Kid is HUGE.

It's easy, right click on picture and look at the properties. You will see a URL address. Copy that URL address into your post and make sure you have
at the end. It should show up as a picture in post when you are through. If you have multiple pictures just repeat the process for each one of them.

Long time since Tennessee has had a truly punishing RB, let's hope IC is just that...punishing.

VN posters who would you choose as Tennessee's last true punishing 'back from 1990-2010?? F'backs aside.

Jamal Lewis set the standard. We haven't seen a recruit since, much less a commit, with that combination of size/speed.
