He's 6'1" 185 lbs. Tennessee was his first offer and he is very excited about it. He's never been to Knoxville but his dad has been up for a few games because he coached Deon Grant in high school.

Oklahoma State offer should be coming soon.

Nothing ground breaking, but Fortenberry said he spoke with Cross and he'll be bringing his mother with him this time. If everything goes as expected, he'll be leaving as a Vol.

Just watched the Imani Cross YT video again; yawned; looked to the right and theres the Barry Sander Jr video; watched it for the first time as I've been avoiding the urge to watch it; watched it and wow. Big difference between the two backs on film in my opinion. I watched Johnathan Gray and Keith Marshall highlight video and Keith Marshall sticks out to me.

Can't win with you I see. No one is comparing Sanders Jr. to Cross. They are completely different backs.

Not sure why you would even compare Cross to Sanders Jr. since they're two different types of runningbacks, but whatever.

Not that it matters since you've clearly already made up your mind that he and Kimbrow aren't takes, but are you watching the Junior video for Cross? Because it's much more impressive than his Sophomore video at Flowery Branch.

He's probably convinced that we are actually going to land Marshall. Dreaming is better than reality, IHOM, IMO, JMO.

Could not go wrong w/ either. IMO. Both RB's are 5'11" 190, run 4.4 40's, and have breakaway speed...Marshall is more elusive while Gray is more apt to run through rather than around a tackler.

One we can use the other doesn't offer anything we don't already have on campus. Wasn't really trying to do a side-by-side but when I clicked the video for BS Jr. I can see why lots of people want him to play at their school.

I did watch the JR video. Like I said in earlier post; in most years I would be banging the drum to sign this guy. Numbers and need keep me from being excited about getting him on the board so early and I believe we have backs with similar skill-sets. If we accept his commitment before spring, I'm not sure its a positive move. You guys are more "one in hand" and I'm "two in bush". (no anything)

You aren't giving our coaches much credit. I guess we will not get him. I'm glad you clarified that for all of us.

It's always good to have a big every down power RB like Cross on our roster. Sanders Jr is a great talent but he's not coming here. It looks like the staff wants a power back and a speed back to compliment each other for this class. If we can pull Cross and Kimbrow I will be thrilled.
