... and IF this is the way he has conducted his recruitment then I'm glad he is gone... Even though we needed his talent and ability on the DL badly, I have absolutely NO use for liars, people of low charachter and people of little or no integrity.. Please don't give me this "they are just a kids" BS either.. They are plenty old enough to have enough class to not operate in this manner..

I hold the same opinion of Gabe Wright.. I hope these 'kids', as many of you like to call them, GTFU because life has a way of being really unkind to people of low charachter...

What about when the coaches don't do what they say they'll do? You feel the same way about them?

It's funny how ppl judge kids they don't even know.

Let me start by saying that I bleed orange and have since birth. I admit I was wrong saying Autry was a Vol lock. Obviously, no kid is a lock until the papers are in. When LT has been telling me for the past two months that Autry is "all Vol," I believe him. I felt confident in what LT (and others) told me about Autry. Nobody had any doubts. So, I relayed that information to VN with confidence, too much confidence. Now I have egg on my face. I've learned my lesson and will be more conservative with the information I post.

Today, I, along with many others in the know, were all shocked when news came out that Autry committed to MSU. The staff found out about this after it was first reported by Scout. There are a lot of people at UT very suspicious about the commitment.

For those questioning whether I make stuff up or get all my information from TOS, follow the timeline of comments today regarding Autry's commitment and the shock to the staff from me (above), Fortenberry, SBV, and Skeeter. All very consistent.

Regardless of whether you love me or hate me, there's no need to argue about me. All it does is clutter the board and detracts from the integrity of the recruiting forum. Let's just stick to talking about recruiting and leave the e-cred debates alone.

In regards to your question about the coaches, were my feelings regarding liars in any way unclear? I don't care what form they take, recruits, coaches, bosses, people in general, etc...

You have to take note of the huge if in my post in relation to Autry.. I am judging noone specifically.. I simply stated my feelings about people of questionable charachter.. Once again, IF Autry happens to be one of them, then you know how I feel about him..

Also in regards to the coaches you'll have to explain what you mean..
Are you saying they are lying about doing 'something' or is it they are trying to do this 'something' you're talking about and just haven't got it done yet? There is a difference you know..

GTFO:finger3::finger3: Where were you when Howard committed or Obrien or Santos or Croom or any of are other commits commited. Bottom line is sh1t happens and you pick the one time it does happen to come spew your negative BS.

Those are great prospects but Autry would've been our best DL player as soon as he stepped foot on campus.

I know Dooley's recruiting strategy is to not take the commitment immediately but let the kid cool off some first. Do you think though that that strategy rubs some recruits wrong? The might feel being told to wait as if it is a nice way to say no or yes only if no one else comes along?

Maybe true, but with all due respect, his point is that a recruit went elsewhere for whatever reason and that's football; however, there is plenty commits to be appreciative of.
