1. Autry has been telling the State staff for 3 weeks he was coming to State. This wasnt a surprise to State fans

2. His juco is only 20 miles from Starkville- so he knows full well where he is going and has been hanging out there for awhile.

3. The McPhee story is true- Thanksgiving weekend is when he changed his mind. They bonded, and Autry saw he could take the same path.

4. Mullen isnt going anywhere

5. We have won more games than you guys the last 2 years, and will continue to do so as long as Dooley is your coach.

6. Say goodbye to Jacobs too- he is dating a girl on campus- and with All-SEC DT Fletcher Cox most likely leaving for the draft this April- he sees a starting spot for him on one of the SEC's best defenses next year.

7. Correction- Cam Newton was not offered anything- he asked for 180K...we turned it into the NCAA. We arent paying anybody squat- so stop with the butthurt allegations.

We leave the recruiting titles to the Mississippi Bears...We put 4 players in the NFL last year, and will put at least 2 more this year- probably 3, and will put more in next season...apparently we are doing something right at the moment

First off, saying you will continue to win more than Tennessee is an opinion unless you have some sort of crystal ball we don't know about.

Funny how a predominantly losing program thinks because of one decent year out of Mullen that they will go anywhere in the future. Face these facts, if the Penn State job is available Mullen will bolt to Happy Valley where they actually have a tradition. Just like Tennessee, Penn State isn't some random team that wins every now and then and bags a surprise recruit then acts like they have "arrived".

I get it though when you are as use to sucking as long as MSU has you will glom onto anything you can. Good job you stole 1 recruit. As for Jacobs we will see. Most kids realize Tennessee is down and will have a much better opportunity to break out and start winning again due to tradition, recruiting, facilities, and the fact that night life is not the main barn in town like Starkville.

As for Cam, my guess is MSU, not you, cause I really doubt you have any say in the matter, realizes they got outbid and was a little butthurt themself. But don't let me stop you. Homer it up. MSU has arrived!:good!:

Nothing is homeristic if its the truth- if we had bid on Cam- we would have gotten him. We were told what the amount was to get him. Auburn was investigated- we got no such letter from the NCAA

Looking at your team and ours- its easy to see who will be better- hell, you guys will find out this Fall on your visit

I am not a big "smack talk" guy... but your "present" is barely better than UT's "present"... and UT is at the bottom of what Vol fans would consider a terrible valley.

Maybe this will help you understand the "present" a little better. Since 2000, MSU has had TWO winning seasons. TWO. UT has had 3 losing seasons during the same period... and fired one of the winningest coaches in college football.... and is in a near perpetual state of panic.

UT will all but certainly rise back to championship relevance... and stay there for a long period. It is extremely unlikely that MSU will ever be consistently relevant.

UT hopes for a mid-level bowl because that's where the Vol program has sunk to... MSU hopes for a mid-level bowl because that's who you are.

I'll be there with my Class of '75 MSU Alum dad. He's about as level headed as any State fan I know--which aren't many in Middle TN anyway--and he even he says 50/50 for that game.

I root for State every week except when they play UT. Be real...State isn't any more suited to tear up the SEC next year than UT is, ATM...it'll be a good game, mark it down.
