I have a question and I am sure it will cause a fuss but I want to make a point not to you but others on this board.

How is what Autry did any different than our staff asking Cross to look elsewhere after telling that kid he was apart of our future because a better option is out there?

I'm not really trolling. I just don't think anything that guy said in his post earlier was "homeristic," aside from "one of the best defenses in the SEC," which I stated earlier.


I know everyone is mad because they landed Autry and are likely to yank Jacobs, but it's no excuse to be irrational.

No... LOL@U it is homeristic if you cherry pick stats. The two years previous to that you were 11th in the SEC.

In 11, you allowed 25 ppg vs ranked teams. UT with all the injuries and youth allowed 31. Again, your peak draws a striking resemblance to UT's low point.

Many "experts" thought you were going to be relevant this past year. The combined record of the teams you beat was 25-46... including an FCS team.... and this was supposed to have been one of your best teams in years.

I'm sorry... but you are in no position to go smack talking on another team's board. UT is down... but no one is bragging about where their at. The fact that you are bragging just demonstrates how genuinely pathetic you are.

It's all perspective I guess. I think you're taking up for him and at the same time trolling the board. I don't see supporting him b/c, honestly, there's nothing rational about a rival fan coming to another board to try to smack talk (or as they like to put it "set some things straight").

I still haven't seen anyone post what's so homeristic about his post, but I'll leave it alone. Bad timing probably. :hi:

SJT18 hasn't posted anything relevant to what I asked. I agreed in my very first post on this topic that he was being a homer by saying Mississippi State is going to have one of the SECs best defenses.

Aside from that, I really don't see anything too far from the truth in what he posted.

Looking at your team and ours- its easy to see who will be better- hell, you guys will find out this Fall on your visit
