I don't know that he's as much a priority now as he may have been before for them. As I said returning their SG and adding a 4* PG&SG as well as 3* PG. they've already greatly improved their guard situation.

Not saying they don't want Fabyon, but I do see it as a possible positive for us. Think about it they return an upperclassmen solid SG who has the 2 spot locked down. So Fabyon would be competing with 2 4* and a 3* for PT. at Tennessee if he was to be starting he'd be competing with 2* and 3*(mcbee&richardson). My point is yes last year A&M was very weak at guard, however they've already addressed it and upgraded nicely, and also have 2 PG coming in that are expecting PT.

IMO I almost see the road to starting and more minutes as being clearer than at A&M.

The article is new, but the news is old that was my point.

I announced this visit about a week ago, that was way before this recent committment (yesterday). That was my whole point, that A&M stance appears to be they may not be as reliant on getting Fabyon now with another PG commitment, now 2 for next year.

I mean in no way does it mean A&M is turning him away, I don't want that to be the impression. I'm just saying that maybe this cools both sides down a bit, because A&M was clearly the leader.

We need to get him on campus for a visit, IMO that'd be huge, but it may be hard to do. Also, who knows there may not be another scholly and the staff may have already Ingres him of that. Only time will tell unfortunately.

Harris currently attends the College of Southern Idaho and has offers from Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Ole Miss, all of which he is still considering.

Very true.

Although growing up in Chicago and what he went through kinda understandable. He hasn't sniffed trouble in his 2 years in juco and his coach says he's really matured so who knows.

The Chicago connection with Webster, and the growing up in the projects and rough youth connection with CCM could really be something he likes. I don't see his character being something that pushes us away, especially seeing as how we've already offered and are still recruiting him.

Guess well find out soon enough, he said he'd like to decide in about 3 weeks.

You may be right?
Looking at it as what CCM has had to deal with in life it may do the kid a lot of good to have him as a mentor.

In any regard I've never seen any mention of any other recruiting coach from Fabyon, interesting.

Dead time of year, recruiting and attrition to the roster is usually about the only good news this time of year. Fine with me though, I'd like to avoid an off season that has players arrested and what not.

Funny thing though...this board was slammed the last week of the regular season, all these fair weather fans. I mean literally midnight on a weekday and there were new threads being started every 5 minutes.

It was nearly impossible to keep up with everything on the front page where new threads kept being made. It really got out of hand.

I'm wondering if there was a massive month long power outage now and that's why we haven't seen them or if there really are just that many bandwagon fans.

My only thought was a phone call. I know Fabyon is in Chicago so it's not like he was on a visit. My first thought was phone conversation and how jarnell talked about ccm being a guy you just liked to talk to on the phone. So I thought maybe ccm gave him a call and they just had a really good conversation or something.

Then again it could have been completely random or just meant to cause a stir. I'll be optimistic and hope it was a phone call that was made.

could be they just moved on to whats next, spring football and whatnot.........i was a lurker on this site for several years before posting.
