I think technically his visit just ended. I don't think he'll commit this weekend based on Callahan's article.

Its a cool commit, but we need more DL. CDDs recruiting is not filling our needs. I'm just not confident with his abilities. IMO, he is way over his head. C- coach at an A+ school. Its really simple to see if you stop drinking the Dool-Aid.

Ha, yeah I read that article this morning. Pretty good read.

And yes I went to school with Cody and played football with him. So I am obviously biased, but he really is a good kid and a talented player. UT fans won't have to worry about Cody flunking out of school or being out at Pilot or Godfellas during the late hours.

But anyway back to Patterson. Good to hear he has visited once again and I'm hoping he pulls the trigger for UT soon.

I'm an ass too, but I just asked you to do something, so I'll answer your question. :)

Basically says he was high on Tennessee before and the visit did nothing to sway him from that notion. He mostly spent time with the coaches, refused to give an official top five but states Tennessee would be in his top 5.

Also states he's not worried about playing time because he thinks he'll play no matter where he goes. Sounds like he won't commit any time soon and may or may not be after OVs.

Way to go out on a limb there, that's a given :biggrin: folks should know by now that JUCO's aren't rated as early as highschoolers
Edit: nevermind, scout has him at 4 stars.

i'm guessing that if he commits to UT before the rankings come out then he will NOT be 5*.

Okay, so I misread the article. He was in town this week, but not this weekend.

So, no, don't expect a commitment.

I keep reading where people think WR isn't a position of need. Its as big of a need as anything. Outside of Hunter and Rogers we don't know what we have at WR. We have 6 total schollys at WR. That's very low we desperately need bodies in case our young guys are hurt or don't work out.

Honestly Rivals is the only one that would not increase our committs ranking because the dude is a Bama fan plus Rivals is so low staffed and just don't have the quality evaluatirs like the others. ESPN and 24/7 are prob the 2 best then Scout and Rivals
