If PaceFlVol was the guest referee, he'd "accidentally" get hit in the head with a folding chair...

Ha...

With our recruiting...I think fake wrestling should be the last thing you guys are worried about. I would have to pass the the referee gig for the man ballet. Sorry

Wow...Tennessee will finish strong as always and have never had the luxury to be loaded with early commits because the lack of instate talent...maybe with the exception being the year after we won the NC. Just chill man. There is a long way to go.:eek:k:

But see that's the thing...the only ones worried haven't paid much attention to UT's recruiting the last few years. The ones not worrying know that the number of commitments right now doesn't matter, it only matters in February, and they also know we're doing very well on the trail with big time recruits. The ones not worrying know that we'll have a full class of good to great players and finish with another top 15 class. But you go ahead and keep worrying...

Can't wait to read your response with a laughing emoticon at the end, it should be hilarious.

If you mean my opinion that we do not need 95% of them, then you would be correct. I guess I could start falling in line with the rest of the group. If a local kid is highly rated then we need him. IF by chance the staff passes on him..."Oh that's alright..we did not really need him". One minute a kids thread reads..."Great player, we need this guy". After he commits to Utah Community College..it reads" He had bad grades" or "He has character issues", or my personal fav.."We are in on better players". All the while noone has a damn clue WHY he went elsewhere.

I just enjoy reading what the experts have to say. Also reading their 14 reasons why something did not turn out like they said it would. No worries though, it is only June..or I mean almost July.

Enough.
Listen to yourself. You sound like you are taking this way too seriously. There is always a reason for why some people commit early and some do not. Besides, they're just kids. Kids about to make a decision that will have an impact on the rest of their lives. The staff is not trying to force them to do anything they do not wish to do, which seems to be what you are proposing. It's like Dooley said in his first press conference, "If you're worried about what others are doing, then you're not taking care of your own house." Think about that.

Pace, if you can't have anymore patience following UT recruiting, then you really have no business to be following it.

Lucky for me...I live in a country that allows me to follow it and voice my opinion. You don't have to like it...or support it. It's ok...I don't mind. :good!:

Lucky for us then, as we don't need anyone to watch over our house(of recruits)....there is noone in it.

...and you are entitled to your opinion. However, you still need to show some patience. Remember, you have no control over our recruiting. All you can do is sit back and watch the show.

Patience is not a difficult concept to grasp. Sooner or later, he'll have to know that.

You have no idea!

Do I see us missing on a TON of kids right now..Yes. Do I think that more will pop up later this year and get an offer from our staff...Yes. Just because we get our tails whipped in recruiting now as every other SEC team fills up..does not mean our class will not be decent come NSD. Of course as players play their senior year they will improve and some will move up the board and need some place to go as (as stated) the other teams have already filled up. None of that proves that when going head to head vs the big boys in the SEC....we are getting whipped. We are about 6 months into this recruiting season...we have not won ONE recruiting battle of yet.

Pace, you need to chill out a bit man. It's easy to be concerned, but really, UT has been this way for a long time. I don't know the numbers, but many of these kids "locked" to a school now end up changing later on in the year. Recruiting is a very fluid process until NSD.

Thank you for proving my point. We are ONLY six months into this recruiting season.

Dooley's method of recruiting is not the same as Gene Chizik's method, or Will Muschamp's method, or Mack Brown's method. He has his own way of recruiting, and it is to build relationships with these kids and convince them to come play for Tennessee. That takes time. You cannot get in front of him at eight o'clock in the morning and get him to commit by eight o'clock at night. It does not work that way. Remember, at this time last year, we only had four or five pledges. We ended up signing twenty-eight. The recruiting season is young; just be patient and let the staff do their job.

Seriously?

Let's think about this. Georgia will load up early with all the in-state talent. Same goes for UF and LSU. Bama is relevant, Saban's the coach, just won a NC. Auburn is relevant, heck of a recruiting staff, just won a NC. Just something to think about. We're not recruiting against little Nancy programs. We aren't really relevant or winning yet.

Even with this in mind, we have still pulled top 15 classes the past two years. We will get ours, and we will beat out some teams for top recruits. It's JUNE.

My message, just like everyone else's: PATIENCE.

Lol...we have beaten the "big boys" the past two classes. We will beat them for some kids this year. You should probably find another hobby.

Agreed on the in-state talent. All the SEC schools, except Vandy, have simply loaded up on the in-state talent that has always wanted to go to that school. TN doesn't have that luxury. Look at Texas. They are done early every year because the elite talent has dreamed of playing for Texas for years. It's a no-brainer for them. Same thing could be said for Bama, UGA, and UF.

He clearly just wants attention. Lets just all put him on 'ignore' and maybe he'll stop posting. He's just trolling...
