Good. I agree, I've liked this kid since his thread was started (unlike a lot of folks on here). Can't teach speed...

He reads Tennessee boards and has set a decision date close to all of these other UT commits. Maybe he wants to join the crew. A lot of things look good, besides the missing camp part. Would love for Will to be all Vol!

Redmond has a firm and legit offer with NO conditions....
He did mention the fact that he read on at Tennessee board that he didn't have one and was puzzled at how that rumor got started.

It does seem strange that it had been weeks since the comments about he needed to run the 40 for our coaches to get a commitable offer were made. Now all a sudden that he did not make it to camp....did not run the 40...and has set a date to commit, now people are saying that he always had a commitable offer. Guess we'll see. I do think he would be a good pickup, I just think he is going elsewhere.

Wasn't there another Memphis East kid who claimed a committable offer to the Vols when there wasn't one? What was it Dooley said today about who we think they are after and who they are actually after being different?

Did anyone ever confirm that the other Memphis East kid didn't have a committable offer?

All I ever saw on that matter were message board rumors that didn't start until after it was clear he was going to Vandy

I would imagine it's pretty easy for a kid to tell the media anything. I would bet It's alot easier to tell them you have an offer and commit to UNC then to answer questions about why the in state school did not provide a COMMITABLE offer.
