UT didn't let it go. He had no interest in UT at all. Made it very clear.
Why waste time when it can be spent on other recruits.
I am sure there are some of you out there that would complain if we were still recruiting him because we should be after guys that actually have interest in Tennessee.
Disappointed that we let this one go.
In an interesting development, Darin Hinshaw was in the midstate area to see four-star running back I'Tavius Mathers. Mathers wasn't answering his phone Monday night so it's hard to know what he thought about the visit and if he will entertain Tennessee moving forward. After Tennessee left Mathers, Arkansas came in to see the running back who's looking around after the staff he committed to at Ole Miss got fired.
This guy just doesn't want to play for UT. Period.
We already have seen. He's not going to be a Vol. Period.
Could it help at all that Wilks played a much bigger role at the end of this season?
