Just heard Barton Simmons from 247 on 1045 say he spoke to Von Bell today. From that conversion, he now believes UT is now the team to beat. GBO!
Also, Clay and Blaine almost went full melt down before the break when Bart came on. Arguing over college basketball RPI's. Classic.
Man if we get Bell, our defense takes an immediate step forward. Which isn't saying much cause our defense was quite a few steps behind the pack. But he's gonna be good. Really good. And we need him.
This is all obvious. But I need to type something. I also need this to be over so I can either love this guy or hate this guy for all of eternity.

"Heard from a pretty good source of mine following Vonn Bell's official
visit to Tennessee this weekend something that surprised me a bit. My
source told me that the parents are all Tennessee, but that doesn't
surprise me much, especially coming off an official visit to a school
that was a family favorite from the start. But he said that he thinks
Bell is going to Ohio State based on what Vonn's brother was saying. No
real mention of Alabama which is the surprising part because I thought
he was a strong Alabama lean as did many others.
Now again, he
could pick Alabama, you can never count them out of anything at all and
they have long been thought to be the leader in the clubhouse for
months. But when I pressed my guy he said "Vonn is tough to read.
Parents are all Tennessee now after visit, but in my opinion he's Ohio
State based on a few things his brother let slip." The brother, who is a
big factor, and Vonn both like the immediate playing time being pushed at Ohio State
and are big fans of Urban Meyer. If he picks Tennessee, I think it will
be his parents pushing that way.
Same source told me Trey
Johnson's dad is letting him make the final decision, there are people
pushing for Ohio State close to him and kid really likes Tennessee which
is why he took the visit against the wishes of some and without the
knowledge of others. Keep in mind that the person who recruited him and
got him to commit to Auburn is Tommy Thigpen who is now the LB coach for
the Vols and is the key factor here. That one should be sorted out later this week I would assume. I think there are too
many factors working for Ohio State for a flip here, but he loved his
Tennessee visit I am told so you never know.
We shall see."
