This will be a Huge Get!

Litterally this guy is gianormus, this is my favorate ol on our board. I hope we offer and he pulls the trigger and committs on the spot, it would be sick to have him and marcus jackson as our guards to go with tiny richardson and austin sanders at tacklee, that would be a sick offensive line

I wish we would have signed Juda.

Why?

Aren't you one of the guys that constantly complains when UT offers/signs lower rated guys? If so, why would you want UT to sign a 3star kid who ended up at Colorado? He had offers from Colorado, Hawaii, New Mexico St, Oregon St, Weber St and Wyoming.

I'm just guessing here, but if Dooley offered a kid tomorrow with that same offer list wouldn't you be one of the first guys in the thread complaining?

Me too. We had a spot open on NSD, didn't we?

Yes we did and Juda had alot of raw talent. He came on the seen relatively late or else I think he would have had more offers. Living in Hawaii did not help his cause, and as far as size goes, he was sort of a "tweener". Either way, we had the spot open and we should have honored his commitment.

I can see your point. However, Juda Parker has yet to finish his career at Colorado so the verdict is still out. It is funny you say that I complain about the "under the radar" prospects that Dooley takes commitments from, but can you name one that has actually worked out? Honest question.

Considering Josh Smith has yet to even start his career at UT, the verdict is still out on him yet your post the night he committed seemed to imply differently. Can you name one commitment that Dooley has taken under the radar that has not worked out? The answer is no, they are all either freshman or sophomores so the jury is still out just like you say it is with Juda Parker.

W/ the our switch to the 3-4, Parker would have likely ended up at JACK LB this season.

Yea.

He is in the 240lbs range at Colorado right now.

Yeah.. It would have been nice to have him. I can remember some of his early highlight footage (camp footage), and the
Kid was super explosive and flying off the edge.

Complainers are gonna complain. Negative people are gonna be negative. What do do you expect from these people? We could sign all 5 stars and many would still pizz and moan just because they don't like DD.

You call it negative, some call it realistic. Either way, the product on the field tells the tale.

Actually, I call it hypocrisy when the jury is still out on Juda Parker, but is not out on Josh Smith who has not played a down in college football

It is not hypocrisy. It is opinion. They differ from person to person. This is a message board. It is okay. Not everyone has to agree. I hope Josh Smith does well. My only concern about the players that have committed thus far, with the exception of a few, have very questionable offer lists. A players offer lists say alot.
