I can see your point. However, Juda Parker has yet to finish his career at Colorado so the verdict is still out. It is funny you say that I complain about the "under the radar" prospects that Dooley takes commitments from, but can you name one that has actually worked out? Honest question.

Not a single recruit that Dooley has signed has finished his career either. Verdict is still out.

So you want me to give you examples of "under the radar" commitments that have "actually worked out" to prove your point that Juda Parker should have been a take at UT? You can't be serious. Just admit you don't like CDD and since UT didn't take Juda Parker that's the reason you wish he were a Vol. I know that's the real reason, it's ok to admit it...

I actually think Derek Dooley is hilarious. He is a bright guy with a whitty personality. He would make a better AD than HC, IMO. With that said, do I think he is the man for the job? No. Why? For the same reasons why most people do not. None of that has anything to do with Juda Parker. Someone mentioned his name and I simply commented on him. I was not trying to prove a point. I was just saying that I wish the staff would have honored his commitment. Thats all.

I disagree. He never even visited. He wasn't evaluated in person. I respect the staff for not taking the risk.

Why, exactly? What makes Juda different from the other 3star under the radar kids, that CDD offers, that you have a problem with?

If I am not mistaking, the reason he did not visit was because the staff lost interest in him prior to him coming in for his OV. Otherwise, I believe he would have visited. Either way, it's all dust in the wind now.

IIRC, Chuck Smith jumped the gun on his offer. CDD wanted him to visit before getting an offer. Just like Reeve Koehler.

I liked his upside and potential. This is shear opinion. I think he would have been an asset on defense and would have added equal or greater value than Raiques Crump, Martaze Jackson, John Propst, and Dontavis Sapp (Although he has been a pleasant surprise). Different recruiting classes, but somewhat "under the radar" prospects that probably should not have been given scholarships to UT. At least Juda was an Army All- American. The spot was available and the coaching staff refused to take him. I am just saying that If you are going to take those other guys, why not J. Parker?

I'm sure if Juda would have visited UT and worked out for the staff (and done well) he would have been a Vol. But he didn't and that's why.

Yep. Might have. Offering without personally evaluating players in person is asking for trouble. It makes the odds of the kid being a bust or noncontributor minimal. Ask fulmer about recruiting based off rivals.com and getting lazy. He ended with a team full of scrubs and a lot of similar players with the same strengths and weaknesses instead of a variety of players that fit your scheme and compliment each other

That says something for him to pay to visit. How much is a ticket from Hawaii to Tennessee each way?

Just caught up with four-star guard Reeve Koehler out of Hawaii and he does plan on being here Monday through Wednesday for camp.

His grandfather lives in Clarksville and he's already there visiting with him. He also plans to visit Alabama and Georgia after Tennessee's camp.

The U.S. Army All-American is interested in becoming a Vol. UT likes him as a center. He is going to have to discuss the distance from Hawaii to Rocky Top with his parents. Sounds like he might otherwise be extremely interested.
