Kansas? They went 1-11 this year. The only team they beat was South Dakota St. They even lost to Rice and Northern Illinois.

Could be a transfer. I don't see the staff staying intact through RK's 4 years.

I feel bad for the kid. He was looking forward to announcing UT at the all star game and then the new staff isn't as big of a fan of his so he commits to Kansas out of the blue. Part of the game.

Too early to say either, Turner Gill left that program pretty bare and they did atleast improve throughout the season to where they were atleast competing with Ok. St., Texas Tech, and Texas. They do have some decent backs that started to emerge this year, and it will be interesting to see what Jake Heaps can do next year.

Weiss is doing a decent job bringing in talent

Oh yeah he's done a great job..... He's raided the Jucos like crazy. I'm not sure how good that will bode for them in the future.

I just don't know how much longer they will give Weis.

I think this is one we will regret cutting loose. This kid is a great player and would have done very well here. Best of luck to him at Kansas.

Reeve was on his official to Tenn with Dominic it was clear he was committed to Tenn but did mention Kansas with high regards. This was a place he felt comfortable with and I am glad he is going somewhere he liked. Great kid!! I look forward to following his future.

thats kinda what ksu has done i think about half their team is jucos so it might work

its cuz kansas has a ton of jucos instate like miss

Didn't realize Marquel Combs committed to them. Knew he was not coming to SEC. Was told by someone who knows Memphis staff and helps that program that Combs would not qualify at an SEC school.

I don't think the supposed Kansas Commit is legit. No recruiting guys are reporting this, and 24/7 is the only site to have him as a commit. They're known for falsely reporting commits.

Out of curiosity, what would be some examples of this? He narrowed his choices down to 3 on 12/12/12 to Kansas, Cal, and Hawaii suggesting he was close to a decision. So it's not far fetched for him to commit to one of those 3 schools.

I'm not saying he won't end up at one of those schools, but it looks like the rumor was started by a Kansas fan with 57 followers on twitter.

He just did a interview with an Arkansas reporter and said he wasn't committed to anyone.

I think he would be a great kid to sign. He does very well in the power run game. With us breaking in a new QB, I am all for guys on the OL who dominate the guy in front of them.
