'13 OH K Andrew Gantz (UT w/o commit 1/31)

I'm ready for CUM to lose a few games and go bawling butt up on the carpet again...hauled away in a freaking ambulance. Does OSU play any SEC teams this year?

LOL... NO... they play such a weak schedule its not even funny

1. Buffalo Bulls
2. San Diego State Aztecs
3. California Golden Bears
4. Florida A&M Rattlers
5. Wisconsin Badgers
6. Northwestern Wildcats
7. Bye
8. Iowa Hawkeyes
9. Penn State Nittany Lions
10. Purdue Boilermakers
11. Bye
12. Illinois Fighting Illini
13. Indiana Hoosiers
14. Michigan Wolverines

Wow. Michigan is the only team that will challenge them. Wisconsin maybe as well

If he can kick give him a scholarship, we have some left. If he can't then let him go. We need consistency in the kicking game. A good kicker is worth the scholarship.

The problem is the transition from high school to college for a kicker is rarely a sure thing. In high school kickers use worn out footballs that travel further, they use tees/blocks for field goals, the goal posts are a mile wide and they kick off from the 40. Kicking in college is a huge change for a kicker. That's why so many coaches try to get walk on kickers and then give them scholarships after they have kicked for a year or two and proven themselves. Thanks to Dooley we went about this backwards. We should have ask Bullock to walk on last year since he was from Knoxville and not that highly regarded. Had we done that then giving another scholarship to a kicker wouldn't be that big a deal. I just can't see us having 4-5 kickers on scholarship. That would be one thing we probably would lead the nation in.

That's pathetic. That's like C+ in terms of schedule strength at best. I could still see them lose a couple games though. Ohio State squeaked by teams that were much weaker than them in terms of talent. They're extremely overrated. But that's an easy schedule for a top ten football team. No wonder why Bell thinks he'll make it to a NC. They won't win though. Any top SEC team crushes them in my opinion. Bama, LSU, A&M, Florida, Georgia, and possibly South Carolina. They choke in big games of importance. Especially against the SEC.

Hope Northwestern takes him to the woodshed. Coach Butch claims him as a friend, but I wish he wouldn't talk like that. Meyer is the only college coach in America that I find truly unlikable.

agreed. once they play an SEC team, they will wear down easily. but i can say i cant wait to see Green meet Bell in the middle... epic

That'll be fun to watch for sure. Bell can make plays and force turnovers, but I saw him get bulldozed several times. He looked completely out of place in the state championship game back in December. Kid's got talent, but I never felt like he was 5 star worthy IMO.

Nick Saban & Lane Kiffin called. They left their numbers, would like to talk to you for a spell.

Even Georgia is envious of that schedule. D- at best.

I was thinking a nice D to D- would be more fitting, but I'll give them Wisconsin and Michigan to boost them to C or C+ range. Other than that, no challenge whatsoever. Bama and A&M have a cake walk schedule too if I'm not mistaken.

Honestly, with the current state of our kicking game Gantz might be worth a scholarship. Butch has the extra scholarships to give, and unless there is a home run kicker in 2014. I think we should STRONGLY consider giving this kid one.

Preaching to the choir. I agree

Thought that was Coach Azzanni?

What about Kiffin?

Funny thing @ kiffin, he is getting his karma now...meyer has not yet.

Now when some kiffin news pops up, I just smile 'cause it has been mostly bad for kiffin :)

Now is the time to dislike meyer (never liked him btw) VindictiveNation attack!

This kid has been a Vol the entire time. Nothing has changed, still committed to Tennessee. He tweeted all of those in the last hour, along with these below.

Doesn't sound very convincing. I say we lay into him more on Twitter so that we get a look at how he handles things under pressure. :p

We would win at least 10 games with that schedule.
