BTO, if what we have heard about Nichols' and Williams' relationship is true, JW3 committing to us Thursday may be a bad sign on our position with Nichols.

Not saying it spells disaster on the Nichols front, but that would be interesting.

No doubt about it. Probably would question it a little myself. Even though Hubbs just shot up to national exposure this summer. I think that may lower some sucpision around the country.

Or Coach Martin got all three (Hubbs, Nichols, and JW3) to talk and they realized what they can accomplish at UT.

The thought of 3 plus Stokes & golden just gave me chills! Though I'd imagine JW3 would be the 6-man but still. CHILLS!!!

Which is one of the main reasons ive said I don't believe it, but am passing it along.

From my understanding those guys aren't playing together...so if J3 to tennessee is true, then either that's bad news on the Nichols front or CCM has convinced both they can be important pieces to our team and coincide.

The latter is a lot more likely than the former.

Nichols is a Vol.

My thoughts is this would be the only way JW3 signs with us. He seems to be looking for a place to shine although his stock waned throughout the summer. If he's getting the feeling that he'll be a significant "complimentary" piece at Mizzou, GTown, etc and will not be "the focus," then I could see him going to a place like UT and finding his role. In the end, the only way I see him coming to UT (and I do hope he does) is if he changes his mindset about his his role.

Agreed.

Get Nichols and I couldn't care less who else we sign to finish off the class.

Getting JW3 to go with Hubbs and Nichols was never really a realistic possibility anyway.

As soon as we got Hubbs we were basically out of it for J3 from my understanding, which is why I was surprised to have heard this.
