I'd go ahead and close the door. He doesn't want to play with hubbs or Nichols...unless something crazy happens, like Georgetown and Mizzou pulling their offers, he'll end up there before he does here.

Either way 2 out of the 3 top targets is great. JW3 has been on a decline not saying I wouldn't still want him. Hubbs Nichols and Stokes (if he stays) sounds very good to my ears next year.

Jw3 was never a top priority IMO. The staff pushed for him, but it was always Nichols and Hubbs 1&2.

Yes. Of the three, I think we will get tue two we covet most. The two who have seen their respective stock rise vs the one who has been on a consistent downward trend.

While there have been rumblings by several out there, to be fair, JW3 has been about as tight lipped as any in the recruiting process. He was not a top priority in the end, but he definitely was when Cuonzo took the job. As things began to shake out, Hubbs' and Nichols' stock soared and JW3's slightly declined. The obvious priorities were Hubbs and Nichols in the end. All that said, I'd still take Williams in a heartbeat.

It was most likely one or the other...Nichols or J3, we see which way Cuonzo went.

A source I listen to, but like I said I have trouble believing it...so just relaying the message.

He's retweeded Mizzou and michigan state fans, but he'll retweet anyone who tweets him, wouldn't read much into that.

Okay gotcha. And I know I follow him and haven't seen very much from him. Not reading anything into it just thought it was because of his announcement coming up soon. I'm hoping we land him and Austin tho.

Would be RIDICULOUS, and would raise some serious eyebrows, not only in Memphis but across the country.
