'13 TN DE Jason Carr (UT signee)

CBJ twitter says he is in Memphis recruiting today. I wonder if it has to do with Carr and Morris?

He bumped into Carr today at his school and is having his in home tonight.

This is where Jones ran into the VQ poster named Galilee who was told we were going to have a big finish by Jones.

I think we hold onto Carr.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Jacques come right out and say. "I did not like it at Alabama."?

Yes you are exactly right.

I've never seen so many panty waist in my life. Buck the f*** up and quit acting like a bunch of losers. If the football team is like "some" of the fan base it's no wonder we've been losing so much. Sorry but damn people some of you are scared of your own shadow.

It's maddening that we call, get the OV, and send coaches trying to settle this down. He doesn't do it until after a visit to Bama. Sounds like he found what he was looking for.

A big part of the problem is the fact that many folks on VN are afraid their respective shadows might very well be on the verge of decommitting...

I was more worried about Ole Miss than Alabama. Saban might not even get out to see him. He will be at Tennessee.

Good news IMO.

Does Hubbs ever say anything definitive?

Player x is committed to school y but is listening to school z. Player x really likes school y but is intrigued by school z. Player x could stay committed to school y or he could flip to school z. School z's coach may visit player x but as with everything else I really don't have a clue.

Or maybe the only reason he didn't shut it down before the visit was because he wanted to go to Alabama (where I am sure he was treated like a god), compare it to make sure UT was where he wanted to be, and then he shut it down because he feels if Bama can't top UT then OM definitely can't.

It may be far-fetched, but it is as plausible as the theory you are offering, IMO :hi:

He does when there is something definitive to say

True, but maybe the visit put to rest any degree of interest. Reaffirming Tennessee is the right choice. Staying positive.

In journalsim you lose your job for being definitive of something as whimsical as a 18 year old's college choice.

I've stated before that once Carr came back to Knoxville to meet with the new coaches, people would starting singing a different tune.

I actually worry more about Alabama making a push for Carr than Ole Miss. Bama is behind in recruiting right now given their NC preparations. Now that they have another title, their pitch just got better.

Can't say I read much more than Carr being committed to UT. Sounds like there was intrigue into Bama, but not much more than that. CBJ can use a timely in home to put this one to bed.

As much as I enjoy the chase and drama of these weeks leading up, I won't forget the lessons that our coaching search taught us. No sense at all into thinking about it until we find out who signed the line.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

"We did some checking around today and we believe Nick Saban has already had his in-home with Jason Carr, so Butch will get the final shot tonight."
