I'll take Morris, but this is definitely a strange recruitment. It'll be interesting to see what happens and what comes out.

The real crazy thing is he is at Ole Miss for an OV and is tweeting at stuff Vols fans have said. You would think he would be enjoying the visit. This kid seems to have some issues. It's quite clear he was passed over here and did not like it. Not sure why he would continue to worry about what UT fans said. It's Ole Miss or stick with the Bruins. Put your focus there big man.

Of course these kids read what is written about them. Their teenagers with self-esteem issues. Recruiting forums are a plague on the recruiting process when you have an extremely negative fanbase.

Just think that this is one of those situations where he feels misunderstood and instead of being a man and just saying "ya I wanted a offer from UT" he's saying IMO that he would never have to beg for an offer because he's better then that. Reality is he wants to be here and now feels disrespected and is looking for a reason to throw some heat our way.

This, why in the hell would I say this kid was begging for an offer with nothing to base it off of? I've been one of this kids biggest fans throughout the entire recruiting process. I've wanted him to be a Vol since day 1. Again, I was paraphrasing what Hubbs & PFort said over on VQ about the kid blowing up the staffs phones wanting an offer (when he didn't have one) & wanting to come visit.

If Morris wants to get upset at anyone he can get upset at them for putting that out there.

If I was connected to VN I would tell them this.

"Stop talking **** about recruits you ****ing morons. It may have had farther reaching impact than the one guy who is calling you out on twitter."

I don't know if the coaches passed on him. Maybe they did. But it seems like its just as plausible that he just doesn't like the way our fans have talked **** about him.

With all fairness players have no reason to be on a board like this. The only thing the real ballers worry about is their game. They don't care what people are saying about them. This kid just needs a life coach so he has someone he respects and listens to so when the life coach says shut up he does it. This just hurts Morris. Why start trouble. I'd laugh it off and go own.

Yeah. It's easy to forget where these kids are coming from. They have all this talent and yet many times they don't have the role models, like Carl Lawson's dad, for example, to keep them grounded and to help them roll with the punches...

In fairness, if the kid goes to a major college program, especially in the SEC, odds are at some point he will have much harsher things said about him. I would be concerned about any kid who reacted poorly in a public forum.

Keep in mind. He shut off the media and the tenn coaches before any of these post in question were made. One of the two parties cooled on the other before any of these claims took place.
