Not sure I can ride with that. I think the coaches in the SEC have a lot to do with it myself. Plus this region just oozes with talent. From head to toe there's really no comparison in the conferences.

On the flip side, anyone degrading Michigan as a program...LOL, uh...whatever. People get a bit too caught up in things in regards to the SEC. Some don't understand how good of a HS player you have to be to play Big 10 ball, or to play in any major conference. Take the SEC out of the equation and I think some of these dudes would be shocked to see what small % of kids in HS get the chance to play major D-1 ball in the likes of the Big 10, ACC, Big 12, etc.

i tend to agree with you on that point for reasons i stated in an earlier post. but a lot of big name programs get the benefit of the doubt due to there reputation in the past. it's not right but it's the way it is. the same will happen when tn starts the season 3-0.

The Big 10 is not the SEC, from head to toe they would get smashed by the SEC. What I'm saying is that IMO, the SEC is just filthy crazy insane on another level right now. IMO the Big 10 is comparable to the rest of the major conferences in CFB. This current SEC dominance doesn't mean other conferences are scrub conferences IMO. If the Big 10 isn't big boy football, why does the NFL draft Big 10 players?

My kids are too young for me to worry about it. But I'll tell you what...if my kid were to garner Big 10 offers when they get older I wouldn't turn my nose up in the air. If fact I would be flat out stoked. But that's just me

I haven't personally been there. But, a friend of mine from Michigan that went to University of Chicago for law school, said they didn't compare to UT. I trust him.

It's hilarious these new rival fans come on a UT board and say something good about the team they root for and then cry when UT bashes it. :). These guys need to either leave or get some thick skin and post logically like the few Gator fans on here. IMO.
