It's strange that the same thing killing our offense (inability to create seperation from man to man coverage) is hurting our defense (inability to create pressure because we can't hold up in man to man)

Anyway, I can't wait for Payne to be on the hill. Are we projecting Gaulden at corner too?

It is not a coincidence that both of those things are related in these ways...lack of speed, quickness, and athleticism. You can't teach speed. Those three qualities will be greatly upgraded with our next recruiting class. Its just about patience. Something few people in the world have enough of these days.

I like speed personally. And I think Foreman can tackle better. I don't know what or how the coaches are looking at nickel backs so I don't know what to tell you. I do know Coleman needs to be there in the future. Kid can't play outside in this defense.

Has foreman played much at all the last 2 games??

My impression is swafford is way ahead of him or he isn't even being considered as an option at the nickel

Foreman backs up either Sutton or Coleman. I'm not sure how much he's gotten to play. I don't think he's gotten on the field much at all the past two games because Coleman/Sutton play a large majority of the defensive snaps.

My guess is they don't want to try and get these true freshmen up to game speed at 2 secondary spots. Hard enough to do it at one the first year.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Mosely outside if he develops right. His height and speed would be welcomed. Along with his instincts from playing QB.

and could be elite...
