My point being is that he can coach with the talent that he has and does not underachieve. What exactly is your point?
That being said, I think Jones will succeed at TN. But there's still the possibility that he's in over his head because he's never been here before.
I know me and you haven't seen eye to eye much lately, but you gotta look at it in a positive view. There's always that chance, but look what he's done at smaller programs like Saban and Meyer did before getting their jobs at Bama and Florida. Im looking at this with the best possible attitude that a Vol fan should have. The guy has impressed me more than Dooley, Kiffin, and 1/2 of Fulmer's tenure already when it comes to welcoming and GETTING former players and coaches on campus. His recruiting hasn't been just average either.

He did an interview on sports animal yesterday that I happened to catch.
Basically the usual rah rah stuff. Hyams asked him if he had seen video of his dad tackling Hershel Walker. He laughed and said no but he'd seen his dad's three Super Bowl rings.
