Not a gif but still...Dooley liked to tell German stories. Cue the gif for those who can do it.
Being 250 already, he's on the verge of outgrowing the MLB position imo. And he isn't done growing yet either...

Reading comprehension says hi...
Pretty sure I said "on the verge of outgrowing the position" and "he isn't done growing yet." With his size and speed, Jakob will be a force at DE imo...
It was simply an observation. You don't know if Jakob will have Urlacher numbers or not. Besides, I can produce several current middle linebackers that have the same (general) measurables.
My reading comprehension is terrific. Thanks for caring.
Look for the move of Jakob Johnson to defensive end to stick for a while. Johnson has plenty to learn, but the adjustment to college defensive end is an easier one than adjusting to college linebacker. Remember, Johnson is a pretty raw player because he hasn't played a lot of football. The other factor in the move is the fact that he's 247 pounds and looks to have no troubles going to 260+.
Defensive line coach Steve Stripling said he has liked what he has seen out of Johnson just from a raw competing aspect. On Tuesday, Johnson mixed it up with some offensive guys late in practice which prompted a sudden change "circle of life" reps for Johnson and some offensive players.
Again, there seems to be excitement over Johnson's upside as an end, but he has a lot of developing to do. Will be very interesting to see what kind of summer he has.
