'14 FL WR Isaiah McKenzie

I think Volnation is beyond getting excited about anyone who shows interest in the Vols. IMHO, we get excited about playmakers who may make an immediate impact.

Check the NFL out. A lot of teams have a quick small receiver/back. PR/KR/Slot

This is what we've been saying every year now--just wait til next year! There's a superstar saviour ready to be unleashed on the competition! Ill tell ya, Johnny Manziel can play in any system. So can Cam Newton, Winston, Bridgewater, Boyd, etc. Hell, I wish we had Maty Mauck! He played lights out as a freshman. If Riley had the "it" factor he would have started game one.

First off you made my point. Johnny Manziel was a RS freshman. As Riley will be. :hi: thanks guy.

Second Mauck didn't start day one

Third, Winston is a RS freshman. Like...wait for it.... Riley.

Dude he came in for their senior qb and played like a veteran. I never said Mauck played day one. Dobbs sure didn't play like Mauck. Mauck schooled him in fact. Don't think Fergy would have faired much better.

You have no support for the claim that Ferugson wouldn't have done any better. None. It's all negative speculation.

To be honest, no I haven't watched his film. His name just popped up on our coaches board a couple days ago.

Like I said before, he did very well tonight against the best of the best. He was a huge spark in the return game, did some good things running the ball, and had some really good catches.

We have a 6'4 North, 6'3 Pearson, 6'5 Croom, and 6'3 Malone. We have height on the outside.

Contrary to popular belief, every team needs a dynamic WR like McKenzie. They are a matchup nightmare when used correctly.

I was hoping Jenkins would step into that role next year.

Let's keep this thread on Mckenzie please. If you guys wish to discuss Tennessee's quarterback situation or the game at Oklahoma next year, there are threads for those topics.

Thanks. I appreciate it.

I don't think Pearson is really 6'3

But that's the excuse being given by so many on here for why his only SEC offer is from Kentucky.

I expect that interest will drastically pick up after his performance tonight.

FSU doesn't have room. Miami already has Brandon Powell, who is the same mold as McKenzie. But, other teams will definitely try.

Did you watch his highlights? Competition was weak. Small defenders missing tackles all over the place. Tackles that would easily have been made against better opposition. Pass.

hs plays solid comp not the top class in fla but not smallest. Would you take Sony Michel? last time i checked he was a 5*..Derek Henry played vs 185pound DL 5* also.

Once again he has legit 4.42 speed. That makes him a want now that his grades are in order. We need him since Powell moved on. He is faster than Powell anyway.

Really? Really? Is this how far we've fallen? He wouldn't start for most SEC teams. Tell me one big play he's made. Besides end arounds and screen passes that don't work, he's done nothing.

Pig led the team in receptions and receiving touchdowns. He averaged over 5 yards a carry out of the backfield as well.

He very nearly won the Georgia game for us on a very athletic run around the edge. Also, he's a SOPHOMORE.

If this kid = Pig then he's a take all day, every day. Pig's a ball player and he would be no worse than the #3 receiver for 9 or 10 SEC teams.

You forgot to mention "places to eat chicken" or "dog flatulence." :)

I"d like to see one of our more witty posters tie those topics together in a post with soccer, moonshine, tux's dinner table, and the Webb high school debate. A formidable challenge

So, I got invited over to Tux's to eat some fried chicken and watch a US International Friendly. The place stank of dog farts and turned out the game wasn't on. Straw that broke the camel's back was when he dissed Webb football. I had to punch him in the mouf and wrapped up the night with some high quality corn in a jar. Don't remember much else, to tell the troof.

*No offense to any parties involved! :peace2:

Florida #offered

Notre Dame mod Tom Loy "Per Mckenzie, Florida and Tennessee offered... But don't worry about that. He's all ND if they can take him." :good!:

I know Notre Dame is obviously a top notch academic school, but can they choose not to enforce their own academic standards with athletes since they are a private school?

Greg Bryant got into ND. They have more wiggle room than most schools. Their fans just tend to beat their chest about how no SEC school is on their nerd level.
