Wrong...this happened in the state semi-final game, and he played with the injury during state championship game. I am pretty sure that he had surgery the following week.

Decent article on 247. tOSU is the leader, his "dream school." He is definitely going to visit UT this year. He likes our staff so far. He also wants to see Bama, LSU, UCLA, and USC.

Can't say much about other sports, but for football the last 3 or so years Norcross has had as many good football players as any team in the country. I don't really know much from firsthand experience though (I graduated from Cartersville and in 4 years I saw 1 person sign a d1 offer and it was a punter). We did have a guy drafted 3rd overall in the MLB draft.

Anyways I digress, the main thing to take from this long post of mine is that GA is a state Tennessee needs to recruit well. This year we hit on some guys like Sutton and Dobbs, but if personally like to get more than 2 from GA. I know we were going after more like Lawson, but I think every year we should try and get 5+ from TN and GA. That's one thing I think Dooley did okay at ('12 we got 5 and '11 he got 7 from GA ). I'm also really liking Butch and co's OH recruiting skills.

I'm excited to see where the Norcross guys end up with Carter, Autry, and Mouhon (may be missing someone).

Also from where I'm from there are 2 decent prospects in TL Ford (WR) and Brooks Barden (QB) who are both high 3*s right now.

I know this is a long post, but I like these GA guys because most guys close to the ATL don't grow up UGA fans and that's why it's feeding grounds for other programs.

Go get 'em BUTCH!!!

Kids grow up fans of the current winning and/or more popular teams. They like Bama, the Buckeyes, Gators, etc.

Probably because our fan base never thinks we are gonna get anyone anymore, due to us striking out on NSD so many times the past couple years. Well **** that, I'm confident in Butch. We weren't even close on a lot of guys when he was hired, and he did work getting studs on campus in basically a month. We are Tennessee, we need to get our swagger back. We are gonna get a stud class in '14, gonna put on this season, and get the ball back rollin'. We have amazing facilities, amazing fans, and one of the best histories in college football. Our fanbase needs to get confident again, we are about to be on top soon. We WILL have a top ten class.
