You guys were five yards away from beating bama in seccg. Uga is a winning program, so that logic doesn't really correlate with why atl kids don't grow up Georgia fans.

Some kids have parents who moved into the city of Atlanta and have no allegiance to any instate schools.

Furthermore, the metro Atlanta area is very highly recruited by schools all over the country.

If you had to live around UGA fans you would understand. They are the most ignorant fan base I have ever been around. If you we're a recruit in this state you would do anything to get away from them. Also Georgia has become a melting pot for this country, so there is not much loyalty to the state schools here. But mostly it's their fans are really annoying...

I think we have a better chance with his teammates. Autry likely lands at OSU, IMO. Hope I'm wrong and he's a Vol.

You would be hard pressed to find a vol fan living in Georgia who does not agree with me. But I'm not gonna derail this thread anymore into my anti Georgia rant.

Living so close to ATL I know. People in the ATL don't care about the "home" team. The Falcons and the Braves get decent attendance in the playoffs and that's it, the Hawks games are empty. Also ATL kids will grow up fans of random college teams. Very few are UGA fans. It almost seems the kids not from the ATL area are UGA fans though.

We should have a legitimate shot at all these Norcross kids.

Makes sense, hope we can get some of them. Great recruiting grounds for quality players.

Some of the same dynamics around SW Ohio except there are more Big 10 and ND coming in there. Between the two we ought to pick up some fine players every year.
