As long as the staff gave him a chance to commit before his spot was taken, I'm cool with it. If he was not done playing the game, then it was his choice to get passed up.
Yeah definitely. So in that case, top end speed isn't as important for them. Because unless you're just a freak like Eric Berry, a DB will make an int and get tackled pretty soon afterwards or go out of bounds. Obviously it depends on a number of factors, but top end speed to get a pick isn't as important as how fast you break on the ball and your knowledge of what the offense is trying to do.
