14' GA ATH Stanton Truitt

What do you think the coaches are telling L. Lee?

I can't answer that as I have no idea. If they knew Lee was worried with the idea of adding Booth, I think taking Powell as well kind of sends the message for him to deal with it or do what he's got to do. Lee being so worried about numbers makes me think he was told something different when he was being recruited/before he committed vs now.

Looks like it does not matter now as it sure seems like he is gone.

Well think about this? Acceleration + great top end speed makes for a special player. A quick player is average in the SEC. Everybody has those type of athletes. But guys like Percy Harvin, CP, Deanthony Thomas, and a few others can break off big plays where a guy that can't breakaway from a defense wouldn't. Think of it like this, certain guys may only get 15-20 yards out of play. Others if you give them space they won't stop running until they hit the endzone. You may as well strike up the band. :good!:

I'm 100% with you on offense. Those types of players are always a threat when they find a crease. But does the same apply to a DB? Unless they get beat initially and need to catch up on a fly route, top end speed doesn't seem to come into play as often. Appreciate the input. :hi:

How many picks realistically will they get is the question? 5-6 Ints from one guy is usually a good year for that player.

Man I really see Truitt being an unbelievable playmaker wherever he goes. He should have a spot regardless IMO.

Booth IMO. I hope we take both

Not so sure anymore.

"I'm not as high on Booth as the analysts. I don't think he has the speed to play in the SEC. I think Tennessee is in a situation where they don't have to immediately do anything with him. He's not publicly committed so they can wait out their class and see how things turn out. I would be surprised if he ends up a part of this class, but I'm not going to say it's not happening."

Does Lee's decommitment affect Booth or Truitt?

Maybe on Truitt. He's coming to camp in July as a slot receiver. I'll be watching closely how Booth handles everything moving forward..

IF Booth is not already a commitment(silent), I would honestly be headed elsewhere if I were him. The story of him being a silent as to not upset a FL WR now does not come into play as that player has bailed. If he is being slow played to see if they can get anyone else, he would be wise to go get him a spot somewhere. Would love to have him as a VOL, but he talented enough to not be a 5th or 6th option IMO.
