For the sake of conversation, why do you believe that? I'm just curious not trying to argue.
In honestly think he could, I just think he'll choose not to.
You always need to get that big time commit. Talent wins games. And last I checked UK was raking them in. UT needs to get one or two themselves to be competitive. We got Stokes, now Hubbs, so basically we need to continue that trend of getting super talent. Looney would be that kind of player I'm talking about.
I don't know. The way Tennessee runs motion, with anyone liable to pop open at any time, puts a premium on having a shooter at every position. It really was frustrating to see guys get an open three last year and clang the ball. I think you try to Mitchell and two more posts - probably London and Hurt, but just maybe Looney - then have a heart to heart with a sophomore or two in the fall.
This is true. I'm hoping Zo can break out of state and grab a highly rated guy. Until he does that, my expectation is we land all 150 players with an occasional highly rated 5 star from Tennessee.
With the signing of Austin I guess we just sent Mitchell a message. Bleed, where does the focus turn toward now? Looney and one more BIG?
I think you've got a board like:
Looney, Black, Hurt at the top
Turman, London, Kasongo a tier down
I think the staff would love to take all 3 on the top line, but obviously that's not likely. I could see Hurt and London being Vols, and assuming we miss on Looney, the staff taking one more post (Turman/Kasongo).
