'14 GA RB Treyvon Paulk (UT Signee 2/5/14)

Butch has the ability to bend time and space with his mind powers and can stop speeding bullets with a mere wave of his hand.

He also has complete control of the Matrix and was the REAL first man on the moon.... he didn't wanna make the trip so he commanded the moon to come forth within stepping distance.

He also has a tank full of hammerhead sharks with friggin laser beams attached to their heads!

You forgot to mention he swims laps in the shark tank daring the hammerheads to bite him.

I can't see any RB being scared off by Paulk. He was a 3 star player and has knee problems. He was known more as a between the tackles type runner before the knee injury and has a limited skill set.

Paulk can absolutely be a solid RB in the SEC.

Three stars mean absolutely nothing to how good he could actually be. I hope he's reinstated to the team

He was a good RB in HS. His SR year was cut short with the ACL tear. He could be a productive inside runner. I don't think he is in the class of Hurd or Kamara. We could use some depth though and he would be good in that role if the knee is healed.

Don't think Paulk will be back (JMO) and would rather put my eggs into a "healthy RB" basket. Don't want another Marlin Lane. Don't get me wrong. I loved the kid and he gave his all for the team no doubt but I don't think he ever bounced back from the ACL injury in HS and it showed in his stats. I have my doubts about Paulk, but hey, he could prove me wrong if he were to be reinstated.

Hardesty had knee issues.... I'd take another year with him.

Pretty sure he hasn't played a down of competitive football since the injury. What are these "stats" you're referring to?

If we don't replace Bussey with Lewis or another good RB, then I hope Paulk does return. Butch could just have him complete some anger-management classes and some community service, such as charities/clinics for battered women (clean up or do chores in the clinics while seeing the damage it does)?

Sometimes a heavy dose of reality can change a young man's behavior.

If there was enough evidence against him to support community service or attending a battered women's shelter, then he would have ended up in handcuffs. I wasn't there so I'm obviously not claiming to know what happened. But the lack of charges is pretty telling IMO.

It's been stated here repeatedly that there were witnesses to him doing it, and it was brought to Butch's attention...regardless of whether his girlfriend opted to press charges or not. I hope he is innocent, but I have a hard time believing he wouldn't already be admitted back onto the team if Butch wasn't presented enough proof to make a decision.

Maybe, but the last article I read said KCSD investigated and declined to press charges. It didn't say anything about the girl declining to press. Its also been stated here...repeatedly...that Paulk is probably a victim, to a certain extent, of the environment that we re in with Ray Rice..etc. and that Butch had to be more cautious than a coach would have in previous times.

Possibly. If there were no witnesses, contrary to what has been passed around on here, then I cannot see why he wouldn't be re-instated, as well.

It's one of those things where we just don't have much info to go on. In any case, I hope he is re-instated.

I don't think Paulk is a victim in any way. The original news article said his gf admitted under pressure from her friend that Paulk hit her and police confirmed she had a visible mark on her face. She was terrified he would get in trouble so that is why she hesitated in admitting it and refused to press charges.

GFW said Paulk was hanging around the Thornton Center and suggested that pointed to Paulk being reinstated as if he were not coming back, he would not be in there. DeerPark explained he would be allowed there as even if he can't return to play football, UT is monitoring his grades to keep from taking an APR hit.
