'14 IL LB Clifton Garrett

If I wanted a damn corndog I'd just go to the grocery store. 'Shine, BBQ, mountains, grade A women, great city, and quality coaching, now that you just can't get anywhere.

Lsu is already loaded.

Correct. Their problems have nothing to do with talent.

I don't hate Chavis by any stretch. He just isn't as great as so many here seem to think.

Today I noted something in LSU that plagued UT for much of Chavis' time as Vol DC- poor tackling.

Chavis had no answer for Wallace and the Ole Miss offense last night. It looked like his defense took the night off.

27 points with all the turnovers on offense is not "taking the night off."

True, mett had 2 turnovers in red zone and another where he was sacked out of fg range. Offense couldn't stay on field til 4th qtr which was tiring the defense

Ole Miss put 525 yds of O on them. The only team they had more against was SEMO. Outside of maybe Bama, LSU had by far and away the most talent of any D Ole Miss has faced.

SIAP, but I thought I'd contribute rather than lurk today:

Ole Miss
No. 3-ranked inside linebacker Clifton Garrett (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield South) officially visited Ole Miss for its big victory over LSU on Saturday night. The 59th-ranked player in the country came away extremely impressed with what he saw in Oxford, Miss.

"It was a great experience," Garrett said. "It's something special here. It was wild. I have never seen anything like it. The Grove was crazy."

LSU has always been the team to beat for Garrett, but with his positive visit to Ole Miss, the Rebels have certainly improved their chances of landing the four-star linebacker.

Chavis is bend but don't break, he always gets a ton of yards against him. OM got 2 scores off turnovers. The offense lost that game for LSU.

Which game was Garrett here for? He tweeted a picture of himself at the game, wearing his UT gear and clapping. The tweet says: This one for all the Tennessee fans!! It's in the recruiting tweets thread.

The weird thing about the picture is that no one else is clapping. Conversely, a guy over CGs right shoulder has a very disgusted look on his face, the person over his left shoulder has their hands over their face, and the guy next to him is looking at CG with the stink eye. So, all of that to say it appears that CG is cheering for something that no one else around him is cheering for...and, if that is the case, odd that he would post that picture "for all the Tennessee fans."

Hopefully I'm making something out of nothing.

I looked at the pic and I can definitely see what you are referencing. That being said, I'm not so sure many believe we are getting him. I certainly hope that I am wrong, but it just appears that LSU will win out on this young man. Again, I hope that I am wrong.

The pic was probably taken after the endzone fumble and Garrett was applauding the effort while everyone was still in shock. Garrett isn't the type to troll the team giving him a free trip. I think it will ultimately be LSU though.

LSU may remain the perceived favorite. But, considering how UT's recruiting has been progressing this year, I wouldn't be surprised to see Garrett end up in Knoxville.

I wouldnt read too much into the photo. If I had to guess, this was right at the end of regulation. I saw Malone standing at the end and was trying to look for some "signs" by the way he reacted. I think many were just clapping and excited for how great a game we were watching. Some were freaking out, like the guys around Garrett.
