'14 IL LB Clifton Garrett

I said a long time ago Chief recruits. He recruited heavily in South Carolina and some in North Carolina when he was at Tennessee. I agree he does not relish recruiting and often was sent to close the deal, but not the primary.

Thank you gentleman. I had to change it recently due to the "new avatar standards" imposed by Freak. I searched through a quagmire of gorgeous women in Tennessee orange. It was exhausting yet enlightening, as I scoured the cobwebs of the internet for a good conservative Christian girl who portrayed those attributes of a Tennessee Vol. I found her.

LSU...and I do not blame him. If you are looking to the future, Chavis develops players and has them jobs in the NFL.
This. I looked it up and LSU has had 5 defensive 1st rounders, and 8 defenders picked in 2nd and 3rd round, since 2010. Many great programs don't get close to those totals in 10 years, much less 4. At least among those not named Alabama.

Or.......LSU has seen or heard info his intrest has dropped in them and there tryin to make up lost ground!!!!!

Glass half full instead of half empty!!

I think it may be a reaching glass. We never led for Clifton Garrett even at the peak of his interest with UT. I'd be very shocked if he didn't go to LSU.

You could tell in the picture how much Chavis hates recruiting. He looked miserable for a guy who just locked up a stud LB.

Garret: "Cheif, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna commit to LSU. Isn't that exciting?"

He is an LSU lock.

They are only locks when they show up for class. With that said, he is pretty solid for an out of state guy. Long way till signing day though.

I can tell you LSU would like nothing more than Garrett to come in and secure the MLB position from Welter as a true freshman. Out of 10 guys that declared early last year, the Minter one hurt the most to the team.
