Told UT staff last night he was a Vol
This is the kind of thing that causes me to lose respect for recruits. Say what you want about them being "kids." Integrity is not a trait you magically acquire when you hit a certain age. This kind of thing is nothing more than a lack of integrity. I've got no respect for that.
Is that a threat? "shot all to hell" Did you guys really think a 5-7 team was going to hold onto all these great players? You guys wouldn't have a sack large enough to talk all this crap about these players face to face much less call him Lamebutt. Yet the men that get paid Millions to teach and prepare them get defended to hell and back for putting unprepared teams on the field...If you're looking for class then you're on the wrong board. Lamebutt isn't a child. He's a grown man.
If you're old enough to serve your country then your old enough to have your credibility shot all to hell.
Hope this kid stubs his toe. Hard.
Tasteless, I know. But I really hope he faces some sort of slight inconvenience or pain as retribution![]()
The guy handled the end of his recruitment like a complete arse. Just my opinion, but it's beyond a selfish move when a prospect upholds his "pledge" right up until the final week of signing day, then all Hell breaks loose and flips on NSD without announcing a decommitment. So he deserves some tasteless words said about him on a message board. Big whoop. Our commits have not said anything publicly about it, but I am sure there is a lot of sour air around the Lambert situation. It reeks of sleazy rich handlers and $$$. But good luck to the dude, I guess. Careful spending that extra cash bro. Auburn you can burn. :devilsmoke:How to handle the situation with humor:
How to act like a spoiled rotten brat with no class:
And that, kids, is your lesson of the day! :salute:
.Wait... I thought he was visiting AU just for fun? He had the coaches at his house at midnight just for ****s and giggles?
Several posters in here were acting like tools to the people who doubted lambert and his "commitment". Maybe in the future you should respect other people's opinions even if you don't agree with them.
As for recruiting, I have no problem with a recruit backing out of his commitment to do what's best for him (ex. Lauderdale). What I do have a problem with is lying... bold face lying to a school that has spent countless hours/resources with you building a relationship. Lambert joins his fellow DL, Gabe Wright, as two of the biggest liars I've encountered during recruiting. What goes around comes around. Lambert may be a great football player, but a respectable person he is not.
You guys get too emotionally wrapped up in recruiting. I want all the good players like everyone else. Kid chose a different school bottom line. He didn't commit a crime or kill anybody. Now grown ADULTS are calling him a punk. Leave it be and let's move on.

I wish the guy nothing but the best life.... Except for in football....
I'm no wishing him a permanent debilitation, just an injury to knock him out of football.
The old, "you would say that to his face" tactic.
I would have zero problem saying that he is a liar and not a man of his word.
Dude, are you lost? Didn't think you came over to the recruiting threads.....Anyway, don't be starting no ish up in here.
