Butch isn't going to comment on a kid who signed with another school. Plus, if this is true about his grades and not qualifying the document he signed is void and even Auburn coaches can't talk about him.

Our staff wouldn't have access to his grades either? Sounds like Auburn got burned as well by this kid, which is hilarious if true. How could neither staff be aware whether this kid was having issues in classes?

This guy appears to have written the article and is a senior writer for Auburn's official website. Very interesting that nothing on their official website references Lambert, while their other 3 signees are mentioned by name.

Trying to find something good in this situation.

Maybe Lambert flipped to Aubie to keep from screwing UT. If he didn't find out his grades until late and realized what the results would be by signing.......who knows, maybe he was doing it to keep us from losing a spot. Likely.....probably not. Possible......maybe.

If he told the coaches he was VFL the night before, maybe he meant it in the "I'll take one for the team" sense.
