How can we redshirt a LB with our numbers/talent??? Smh some people act as if we actually have talent loaded up on campus.....

I'm pretty sure people are only saying it COULD happen. Any player COULD end up redshirting under the right circumstances.

People, please stop bashing our players. You have know idea the reasons for his delay in enrolling, and no one else is talking about the details. If he fails to qualify, then feel free to bash a young man, of course. But until then, please reserve your judgment. You will look like a fool for bashing a player you might be celebrating in November.

I don't think he will redshirt. If nothing else he will start on special teams at the beginning of the season while learning the defense. He can be a instant difference maker on special teams and a great tackler.

What I remember reading is that Weatherd has played very little LB - most of the time he had his hand down rushing the passer. As a result he struggled making some reads and covering.

May be wrong, but that's why I figured he'd be primarily a pass rusher this season backing up Maggitt - especially with CMs injury history. If true, I also think he'll have a tough time beating out JRM, Bates, or even Bryant at OLB. Maybe even King or Elliot.

I have not seen Butch miss on many things of this nature in the past.
