'14 JUCO LB Chris Weatherd (UT Signee 2/5/14)

If Rashaan Evans or Clifton Garrett decided they wanted to come to UT, then they probably tell Weatherd to look elsewhere now. Other than that, what other linebackers do you think they would replace Weatherd with, Ron?

I'm not sure we're recruiting many other LB's at the moment. I think the staff really wants Garrett and if he wants to be a Vol, they'll make room.

I think taking another LB at that talent level wouldnt force out Weatherd, as we are pretty thin at LB already. I think they would turn Dews away before turning down Weatherd. Just my opinion though.

This kid has been rock solid since he committed. Hell, he even sang Rocky Top on Knoxville sports talk radio, yet every week something stupid pops up and everyone questions his commitment or status with the team. Give it a break, it's useless. He isn't going anywhere.

My only negative toward this kid was when he was going to visit A&M. He decided to stick to his word about that so I have had no issue since.

I think the kid is one if the top 5 most important bricks of the class EE or not.

Hubbs is the one suggesting he might be recruited over

My guess is that Weatherd isn't in the first three out if they have to make spots.

We need some solid LBs bad.

This guy weatherds a lot of anxiety and "bashing" from the fan base that is supposed to be supporting him 100%. I personally don't care when he gets to Knoxville because whenever that is he will be a beast for the O&W. That is all that matters. Game on Mr. Weatherd. Glad your a VOL!!!
