I'm not getting in the middle of your and his spat. I'm not saying AJ is or is not a "me" guy. I like him as a player, but I'll admit the penalty was dumb.

I guess my point is....whether or not AJ is a me guy, there sure were a lot of me guys brought in by Dooley. The irony in this is how adamant he was on bring in "character" guys. Lmao. Little did we know they would have s***** character.

Character and discipline are not the same thing.

AJs actions on the field tell me he is undisciplined and immature.

I can't comment on AJ's character or integrity.

From everything I know, AJ is a very hard worker and leads by example.

Not sure where anything different comes from. He is just not the most athletic guy we've had at mike.

The last special (athletically) Mike backer we had was Mayo.

I really liked how Sav Frazier looked earlier but the wear and tear took a brutal toll on him

Sorry that I'm tired of his antics. Sickening to watch an upperclassman celebrate routine tackles during a close game vs Vandy or a butt-whipping vs Auburn.

If you can't see that AJ is a "me" guy by watching him play this year then we can simply agree to disagree.

AJ stuck with his commitment to us a couple of years ago when a lot of guys jumped ship. That and his play makes him one of my favorites. He's the kinda guy that motivates others to play harder.
You don't like him for some of the other stuff but let's face it, a player rarely has a chance to celebrate when playing for UT these days.

I'm a big AJ fan too. He clearly has issues in coverage. But I find it amazing how people choose to ignore the lack of help on each side and up front. Maybe if he had help at the LB position they wouldn't have to leave him out there on third down to get exposed. Jmo

He also leaves it all on the field. He's definitely limited in areas, but he gives it his all.

he and the others have reconfirmed their commitment numerous times, but we all know that really doesn't mean a thing until they have signed those papers. I did hear him call into TSR Monday, I think it was during Hookers segment and I knew immediately who it was when he said his name, but during the whole conversation it sounded like they didn't even know who they were talking to, no questions or anything, he even seemed to try to lead the conversation by talking about fixing to go to practice in the cold and stuff, and that UT fans should be encouraged because "help is coming" and next season there is a lot of talent coming...they never acknowledged him, or talked about the recruiting class or asked him about his season or anything....I was thinking Jeez guys, you could at least act interested in what he has to say...
