I don't consider Blair a bust yet. Yes, it's disappointing that he hasn't earned a spot, but of he redshirts he could possibly contribute or even start for two seasons. He has all of the physical tools to play for us, maybe another year of being in the system will help him realize his full potential.

Would be huge to get him red shirted along will a medical redshirt for Gilliam, solid 2 deep to allow for some freshman to get a redshirt year under their belt and start building toward future depth.

We'll find out what the staff really thinks about him. If he doesn't play this year (or plays meaningless snaps) and they don't redshirt him, they're letting him 'play out' his scholarship. I like to call it "Riyahd Jones'ing" a player.

I'm not sure on this, but I thought that eligibility was the same everywhere. If he hasn't used his redshirt at any previous college stops it is still available here. Someone else could probably explain it better.

All players have 5 to play 4 no matter what route they take. If they go JUCO and redshirt then transfer after 2 years, they then have 3 to play 3.

AK redshirted his freshman year at Bama, will play this year at JUCO be here next year with 3 to play 3.

Until then, Kendrick will hold the fort down and Thomas/Kerbs will be the back ups. I've seen Blair play. Dude is a very good run blocker. He has no problem going north and south when run blocking. If he can move to RT, get in shape, and learn to move his feet pass protecting, I believe he can be a very good SEC RT. If he could lock down the RT spot, we could then slide Kerbs back inside to RG, and maybe redshirt Robertson like we did M. Jackson for the future.

Robertson is our best offensive lineman. Jackson is the worst SEC guard I have ever laid eyes upon. Crowder is a fighter but just doesn't have any natural talent. By reading this post, I can just take your opinion of Blair and throw it out of the window. redshirting Robertson? hell, he will be a 4 year starter and a first round draft pick.. fact. Please, educate yourself before rambling on about an issue you clearly have no idea about.
