Charlie is my nephew. You are correct, he is a marine. Saw him in February at his grandmothers funeral there in Clintwood. He is married and has a home in New Orleans but he is currently stationed in Oregon. The Bakers are all wonderful people and Clintwood is a neat little town.
I think that he chooses UK based on some stuff that's leaked in the last few days. He spoke that he grew up bleeding blue, a UK fan, but soured when Joker Phillips didn't recruit him. When Stoooooooops was hired, they went after Barker immediately.
Also, there's the little thing about him doing a big press conference for his announcement at his high school. If he's really going to South Carolina, he stands a chance to get booed loudly. Why risk that possibility if you aren't going to the in-state school?
Well I graduated with Charlie and Angela. Anthony was ahead of me by two years and Maggie behind me by one. We camped and played sports together right up until graduation. My folks were at that funeral as well. Hated to hear that.
