Anyone know what time tomorrow? Either way, gonna be some butt hurt fans , should be a fun day to stop by either USC or KY boards. Got my popcorn ready.

It's been said on multiple recruiting sites that he wants to leave state but he has family that are putting a lot of pressure on him to stay in state. Thats why I think he'll end up choosing UK. No need to be salty Brian.

And yet nobody really knows the truth of what's between his ears or what he's really feeling. Point is, we'll know tomorrow.

Since people are saying that he's going to stay in state he will probably commit to Louisville since they are a much better football team than UK. Plus, I heard you didn't have to be related to the rest of the team to go to Louisville.

Decision today at 330 EST 230 Central. Anybody like our chance here? I know it seems like we have depth here with Fergie and Dobbs coming in, but one could always leave if the other one (dobbs) wins the job early in the new offense. Also, if Worley wins it Barker could be in the mix against the other young guys. He would be a huge get...

1%, we are a hat on the table. If we had not added Dobbs late, I think we would have been set up to get Barker. If bama passes on Cornwell, I think it plays out better for us anyway. If bama takes Cornwell, I'd look for a lot of new names to pop up on our possible QBs for this class.

If I remember correctly, this guy ran a lot of read-option on his highlight video. I think he would make a great Butch Jones style QB...but it's not very likely to happen...

Yep. Pretty sad how we'll lose a recruit to UK. I figured he'd like to go somewhere where he could at least win.

How does anyone know if he is even a take for us at this point? It sounds like Cornwell and Kizer are higher on the board, and both are still very available. Maybe Barker called our coaches and wanted to commit, but was told we already have our guy. You never know really. Maybe Bama offering Brandon Harris last week means more than we realize...ie, Cornwell called our coaches and Bama's to tell them his decision that he will announce in June. And maybe UK did beat us outright for his services. You never know.

Or maybe he just liked SC and Kentucky more than he did Tennessee

We are in a new era of UT football. Kill all of this non-sense chatter about us picking up commits because they were turned down by other schools. Butch has proven already that he is very capable of pulling who is #1 on our board! And there is no reason he can't pull Cornwell with Bama wanting him as their #1 QB as well. Vols all day every day, baby!!

My point exactly. If Barker as is likely doesn't commit to Tennessee, I think Cornwell will.

Tell that to Butch Jones, who has been recruiting him since the 8th grade.

As for Barker, he's handled his recruitment extremely well. Hasn't given recruiting services any clear indication of a leader but USC has been in the mix more consistently and longer than anyone else, so they get the obvious vote. UK gets an edge for being the home-state team and for making a very solid late push for his services. With that said, I haven't been sold that Tenn is 3rd on his list either. The fact that Coach Jones has recruited him since 8th grade and that he has maintained a really great relationship with the coaching staff makes Tenn even more of a wildcard. Just my opinion, but I think Tenn has been in the thick of it for a while and we are probably selling ourselves short by maintaining the thought that we are nothing more than 3rd for his services. A little last minute false hope maybe, but I'll be tuning in at the very least just so I can see the meltdown that would ensue if he DOES actually pick Tenn.
