'14 MD LB Jerome Dews (UT Commit 6/24)

Bruin probably thinks that the USA was responsible for 9/11 and that Tupac faked his own death to go kill Biggie.

I would love to get his take on the Kennedy assassination.

trust me this has been attempted several times. Tried to put together the revolution myself. If everyone ignores then it's like they're not even here, but it never ends up working. Just ended up taking him back off of mine because i had to end up reading all of his posts anyways.

reported. :)

If this wasn't a future Vol's thread that I'm a big fan of, it would be the first thread I've ever ignored on this site. Completely ruined by one poster.

Couldn't agree more from moving on, but nonetheless, it was always a possibility he would grey-shirt, that was from the staff, there wasn't anything shady, Jerome always knew that was possible, IMO they were waiting on some others to commit which was fine, business is business, because he was not on their radar is why i think they wanted to make room for him. And him saying he is better than a grey shirt, was a kid not understanding the opportunity being afforded to him at the time, sure he has other options, options that may not mean much to some of you, but its big to him, he chose to go with the best staff/program, the best opportunity and the best situation for Jerome, whether it be 2014 or 2015, god willing, Mr Dews will be relocating to Knoxville!!!

I would hope there's no one on here looking down at any scholarship offers a kid gets. I know I would have loved to get a full ride for playing football. It's a big deal to get that offer from any school.

That being said, we're all thrilled that he picked the good guys.

I was under the impression that if you had a poster on ignore you couldn't quote their post???

If that's the case there are a lot of liars in this thread.

Well... consider this the last post I'll be able to quote by you.

How's that for the truth? :salute:

Sadly, reluctantly, I'm putting you on 'Ignore' Bruin. I don't do this lightly. As Coasty said, I enjoy reading dissenting opinions. You've derailed too many threads to justify ridiculous arguments, though. I'm doing a disservice to many others by quoting your posts.

I have decided to not quote him, but I did in another thread.... sorry guys

If we're openly stating our ignore preferences, I have nobody on mine. If it seems like a post nobody wants to see I won't quote it. I've also come to realize people don't like attacking insiders. Since I didn't block anyone, I challenged an "insider" to actually provide info and he couldn't. In doing that I think I lost some respect and probably got blocked by some. I've learned to only call trolls on BS and not "insiders". On Bruin, I actually like reading his posts. He has some different opinions and they hit every once in a while. I actually enjoy all of the "regulars" if there is such a term posts. I would make a list, but I'd leave someone off :)

Anyway this is the end of my story time. Glad the whole GS debate is cleared up. I'm happy for Jerome and his family.

Unfortunately, I don't think we know either way how his situation will play out. I'm hoping the staff will not deviate from the program's best interest come February 7th. If that means accepting an A.J. or C.G. and showing a mid-level prospect the door, so be it. Purdue would be a good option for Dews considering the kind of prospects we're getting now.

Did I dig through 97 pages of blithering? No. I'm well aware of the possible "greyshirt" scenario that has been debated ad nauseam. Whether you want to hear it or not, there are better prospects on the board.
