Well Sir you just lost your 20, all you good Vols fans that say you dont want him, obviously are not among the the Vols Coaching Staff so your opinion of him is irrelevant, and to answer some of your related questions, that 5.47 was ran as a freshman at a Nike camp, he ran 4.6 at the Vols one day camp on the 15th of June, and was clearly the best OLB at the camp according to your beloved Vols Coaches, so i say to you fine gentlemen lets this play out and then have your opinion when it is all said and done, thanks for your ear! (Speaking of Jerome Dews of course!)

Great post! Ignore the haters/wannabe talent evaluaters on here. It sounds like Jerome balled out at camp and really impressed, glad he's going to be a Vol! :rock:

This kid's a puppy. He's only 16. Should be a HS sophomore. So think about it...you have a 16 year old at 6'4 200lbs that runs a 4.6 forty and a 4.22 shuttle WITH 14 sacks. When he's 19 that's 230-240 lbs. and sub 4.5. Until Butch PROVES otherwise, I will go with his gut instinct.

Great post. Potential talent is off the charts here. I can't believe VolNation gets so upset that our head coach is possibly adding a future talent to a recruiting class already in the top 5 with plenty more talent on the way, Bates, Berry's etc.

Its not like we are building our class on guys that are potential reaches, we are supplementing our already great class with ONE guy who honestly sounds like he could develop into a beast. Basically a younger Weatherd is what it sounds like to me.

You're obviously new to message boards. You get the most extreme on both ends of the spectrum on the Internet. If rivals or 247 doesn't think they're a good player, there will always be people who think that player isn't worth a scholarship. We've had bad coaching for a while, so there are plenty who will assume the worst when possible. Don't let the radical negative nancies tarnish your view of Vol fans.
