Folks need to chill

No need to insult the kid. He feels its not the place for him. Anyone ever quit a job?

It's not the way I would have done things, but everyone walks their own path

I hope Scott stays because he's already had a careers worth of injuries. lol

All joking aside I think Scott can be a good player then be a starter his senior year. I want him to stay. I think you need four good RB's to go through the SEC

On a serious note, he thought he was going to be the MAN. Then he met the Beast Jalen Hurd. Then he saw Alvin Kamara highlights.!then he broke a finger trying to close out AKs hudl tape

YOU ARE QUOTING A RUMOR FROM THE FOOTBALL FORUM!!!!! NOT ANY REAL PROOF1!!!!!!

Sorry for yelling, but my goodness stop using a rumor as a source.

Lol chill out. I'm telling you now, Scott won't be back.

And if anyone cares enough to look back, you'll see that I said something about this on the Sunday after the SCe game.

Lots of dissing going on for nothing to be official yet. If he stays at Tennessee some of yall are going to feel really stupid. Either way why be mad at a kid even if he does end up going home. Football in this league is a big step, sometimes too much. It happens every year.

We will have three experienced RBs-- Hurd, AK and RDAIV-- plus any incoming freshmen. Scott most likely would have been in the rotation... but his choice. We're not UGA or Bama, but we'll be OK.

EZTD, from what VQ has said they have to stay through the spring unless they want to sit out two years of football before they can transfer.

do you not think there is a shot they change their minds?

He'd play a lot next year for sure if he decides to stay. With that said it certainly sounds he's the more likely of the two to leave between he and Hendrix. I think Hendrix' family is talking some sense into him.

I like the sound of that last sentence.

I did go look back at the post immediately following the SC game. I couldn't find a post by you regarding Scott --- maybe I just missed it. However, I did find this post from 'abrock42' about Scott in the Corey Dauphine thread on 11/4/2014 (3 days after the game):

watch for scott to transfer to nc state.. would be a huge loss because he is the next shady McCoy.. watch his highlights and the jumpcuts he pulls out, you can't teach. better start givin him the rock QUICKLY.

After a few responses from other posters, 'Go FIght Win' responded with this post:

No validity to NC st claims

Kinda makes you wonder who's the insider.......

While you're wondering, contemplate how an alleged Mizzou player would know of contact between NC State and a current TENNESSEE player. If it comes to fruition, give him a high five on your way to the mailbox with a packet addressed to the NCAA Investigations office. :glare:

Scott ought to take a look at Nick Chubb and realize that good teams need a stable of star RBs. Even when Gurley came back, Chubb was in the mix and Michel was, too. Yes, we have Jalen Hurd and new guys are coming in, but Scott could be right in there with them. Talent rises to the top, homesickness fades and sophomore year will be better. Short-sighted decision to leave, IMO. Hope Scott reconsiders.

Yea, puzzling to say the least.

Where have you heard this? Too many insiders, can't keep up. Awesome news if we hold onto him.

We are in big trouble then.

I don't think so. Hurd & Kamara as a 1-2 punch? 95% of schools would trade their entire RB depth chart just for those 2. Anyone who has been paying attention knows that those 2 guys will get 90+% of the carries in 2015. One goes down to injury, the other guy will get the majority, the #3 guy picks up the slack and Dobbs will keep it a little more. In reality it's a roll of the dice no matter who the #3 guy is if he sees many carries at all. CBJ just does not go deep into the RB rotation if he does not have to.

The real scary thing for other RBs is that Hurd & Kamara may have it locked down for the next 2-3 years.

We're in that small percentage of schools that play in the best conference in the nation and typically have a top five SOS. UGA for example ran through multiple backs in the past few years because of injury. It simply not good enough to have two good RBs in the SEC unless you want to gamble your season on their health.

Are you honestly sure you're a fan of this team? I just wonder because every post you make almost seems an attempt to sabotage this team. I'm not even sure you realize it? Other RBs shouldn't be interested or should be scared because Hurd and Kamara are going to have the position locked down for several years? What happens if one of those guys go down to a bad injury?
