Smith will play CB in 2014, and Blue will either be a FB or a LB. He was recruited for FB, but has played so well as a LB his final yr. in HS that it may be impossible to keep him away from the defense, except that USC will be loaded at LB next season, so his best bet to see the field will be as a FB....he's not going to be a 240-lb RB, lol....

That's a strange comment: according to this thread, UT's depth chart is even thinner than USC's - at least that's what the Vol staff is reportedly telling Derrell. But Scott hasn't committed to anyone yet, especially to UT who y'all say is the decided leader for him.

It could just be it's because he's not ready to commit to anyone yet.....

Wednesday, Jones and Robert Gillespie will make their in-home visit with Derrell Scott. As we've said all week and the last several weeks the Vols are in very good shape heading into the visit. South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier is expected in the house on Thursday and Scott will then shut it down for the weekend and make his decision on Monday at 3:15 after school.
