This is great news IMO. If distance is a factor at all at least TN is within driving distance.
C2P do you think Poona prefers the SEC over the BIG or do you think it matters to him?
C2P are South Carolina and Ohio St really that big of threats for Poona. Sounds like he is almost ready to commit to the Vols!
Ohio State might be.....SC is a distant third as of now. I said over a month ago if OSU/FSU came into the picture it might throw some things off. I also said I thought OSU would...but FSU wouldnt. UT still leads and is #1.
Not sure if any dline coach has put more guys in NFL in past 5-8 years than Stripling. As far as commitment goes, still not sure. He has seen UT twice, SC three times and knows what both have to offer, as earlier stated OSU is the wild card. He has seen OSU once but not as a "true recruit" and hasn't seen it all. If he commits soon, I still wouldnt be suprised, but it might only be known about by the Vol staff until the end of spring football. My guess right now is that he camps early June at OSU, then UT, and maybe....maybe SC and makes his decision shortly after that. Hopefully that makes sense. He making sure he has done all his research because once he commits, he's a kid that will be as locked of a commit as possible and wont sway from that school. I know he is extremely comfortable with UT, the coaches, tradition and fan base....more-so than anyone else.
