Poona is a really good DT and seems like a quality person.
If we told him we're full I hate it for him if he wanted to Rise to the Top.
However, this is where Vol recruiting should be. Pick and choose.

Its conflicting to hear we are going to recruit kids up till nsd incase thrre are defections yet we tell Poona we are full.

Continuing to recruit and accepting a commitment are different things. Poona is ready to commit, the staff no longer has room at his position. They'll likely keep in touch with Poona and if a spot opens up, he'll get a chance to commit then.

He likely could have committed a couple months ago but he wasnt ready and now things have changed with others at his position. Just like with Stanton Truitt. IMO.

I think when it really comes down to it, it is more about us not liking Poona's game as much as we used to as it is us "being full".

I think we have some other guys that we feel good about and probably even have a silent commit or two, but I don't think we are really "full".

Ron Swanson received an e-mail from C2P whom seems to be legit that said we told Poona we are full and he will be picking UL.

I hope that is wrong, I know this kid is short for a DL but he has a motor

I think it must be good news, and I am sure I don't understand recruiting very well, but it seems to me a committed Ford would be better that a hopeful promise of a commitment.

Unless we already have something that is not public :dunno:

How do you think this meshes wit the late Elam offer? They offered Ford well before Elam. Did he suddenly skyrocket to the top of the coaches' board?
