If Strong is bolting for Texas, and the dead period slowly drawing to a close, there may be time for Poona and Tennessee to take a second look at each other before NSD gets here. The only problem many saw with Poona is his height. However, sometimes a shorter DL has an advantage over taller ones.

If the opportunity to reconnect with Poona arises, it might fill the void left by Lambert's defection. It may be a long shot, but I still see Poona Ford as an excellent recruit with a good motor, and a lot of positive intangibles. It all depends on how things were handled before he chose Louisville.

My point is until signatures are put on paper, all situations remain fluid.
