I'm confused. Don't most kids who wanna focus on their senior season commit somewhere early and shut it down? No biggie, just seemed a bit odd to me.

Someone getting raped is no laughing matter no matter what school they attend. There are more important things in life than school rivalry. I couldn't imagine what that young lady's parents are going through. I don't have a daughter but if I did I would be looking to castrate (with a rusty spoon) whoever was involved with violating her. Just thinking about this makes may blood boil so I guess I'll leave it at that.

Agreed. I have a daughter and if UT players did something like this I would be ready for them to suffer real bad. Football would not matter. Freak needs to get this under control. Bandy jokes fine. Rape jokes are not.

He played as a DT at The Opening. He is a legit 275 prior to his senior year. DT all the way.

If he's attracted to Franklin then he needs to think it through. One of two things will happen. Vandy will go back to being Vandy with Franklin fading to obscurity OR they'll have one or at the most two more good seasons with Franklin getting a big time gig at a real football school.

Either way, the likelihood of JF being the coach at Vandy two years from now is almost nil.

If he wants to wait......that's fine I guess. You always take the chance that a High School Senior has that break out year though. Could back fire on him.

He is who the coaches want NOW. Tomorrow............??

1. Barton Simmons gets boners to Vandy because he played at Yale and is all about the academic school playing football thing.

2. Derek has visited the Vols enough to know what he wants. Don't read into that Vandy article too much.

3. Vandy just had 4 players gang rape a girl in the worst situation I've heard of in college sports in a long time. They suck and I hate them.
