JMO...UT coaches and recruits will stay on Barnett until the dead period begins. Then, I would suspect that certain recruits are visiting with him through Wed.

I expect things are well under control from UT's end.

Surely y'all would know by now based on his recruitment that he wouldn't make a decision like flipping to vandy out of nowhere. He went a long time to make the right choice. He isn't going anywhere else. I think everyone forgets what Franklinvol and BOT have said all week and also that he has too many friends on team to join a horrible class at vandy.

Hope it's all a lot of garbage, I think he is a big time talent and truly needs to be a Vol. Gaulden said just a few days ago that Barnett was good. They high school teammates for those who didn't know

I haven't forgot what Franklin and BOT have said. Of course, I don't go through life looking for reasons to worry either.

I guess we should not tell them their new safety committ just started following the head coach of Northwest Pellesippi Technical College, Bucksnort Campus. And since that was their main competition in landing him in the first place it might mean bad news for them on Wednesday.

They have zero common sense, zero personal skills and zero street smartness. You can be the smartest person in the group but if you can put it into country boy terms then you are nothing. Vanderbilt grads are better in a vacuum type environment not requiring interaction with others....

^^Winner! Right here. Super Bowl was depressing and never considered this subject would crop up again. I was with Derek last night after he worked all afternoon at BA. He's never heard from or met Mason. Not sure why he would be attracted to the train wreck that is Vandy football and to a coach he's never met 3 days before signing day but I guess anything is possible.

His scholarship papers will be faxed to Butch at 7 AM CST on Wednesday. If I get a copy of them, will you guys believe that he's VFL?

Funny how they were bashing him about the late hit in his last high school game. They called him and thug and a perfect fit for UT, but now that they think he's going to Vandy they totally gave up that argument.
